There are a few different timelines of the story, with Willie nephew tying it and Wilson copying it forthe Duchess of Sutherland. But it is one of the most famous salmon flies of all time, it now spawns so many varaitions that it’s hard to say if they look like the original. but yellow, orange, black and you cannot go wrong. there 25 versions on here at the moment!!
