Great summer fly in small size and good spring fly in the bigger ones.
Name after the J.A.J Munro tackle shop in Aberlour on the Spey, created by the own John Miline Morrison in consultation with John Ashley-Cooper the angling author. Based on the Thunder and Lightning fly, but a slimer profiled hair wing. The original was yellow bucktail under black for the wing and more modern variations like this one used dyed yellow squirrel. Side note John was responsible for 'Jungle Formulae'!!
